Ayurveda has its prime origin from Atharva- and apart as a supplement of the Rig-Veda. Dhanvantari is worshipped as the God of Ayurveda. The aim of Ayurveda is to integrate and balance the body, mind, and spirit. It is a health system with strong philosophical foundations. Ayurveda is believed to help in preventing illness as well as promote wellness.

Shri Om Parkash Bansal Educational & Social Welfare Trust, Mandi Gobindgarh is the promoting body which was registered with Registrar of Societies at Chandigarh on 27/10/1998 bearing registration no 1180/1998-99. RIMT has grown from strength to strength. A fascination for excellence and for provision of quality technical education with dedication and discipline has meant quite a bit for us. Little wonder, our growth has been phenomenal, reflected in us growing from a single to a number of institutes. With this our challenges too have become innumerable, yet sans any compromises our endeavors towards excellence are remaining relentless.
